Bellbrook Lions Club Festival
|
The Bellbrook Lions Club will hold our 63rd annual festival August 20, 21,and 22, 2009 behind the old Sugarcreek School in downtown Bellbrook Ohio. At the conclusion of the festival 11pm Saturday night we will raffle off a brand new 2009 Chevy Cobalt. Last year's winner of the sparkling new 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt was Forrest Greenwood, a Bellbrook resident. Mr. Greenwood received the keys to his new car from Bellbrook Lions Club president Gregg Sparks with Dick Aikins of Lang Chevrolet of Beavercreek where the Lions Club purchased the vehicle. Other prize winners were Roy Cox of Centerville, who received the 2nd place prize of a 19 inch flat screen television and Jennifer Butler of Spring Valley who received the 3rd place prize of a 4 GB iPod Nano.
Last year's festival was very well attended with the nice weather and the added feature of viewing a fireworks display Saturday at 10 pm sponsored by members of the Bellbrook community and local businesses. The Lions Club would like to thank everyone who participated in making this a very successful fund raiser for the club to do its work within the community.
Remember the 2009 Festival will be held August 20, 21, and 22.
